(1) At what rate (moles/hr) can carbon dioxide be removed from the system in the existing water stream? (2) Is it a practical device? Explain and suggest improvement or alternative. The Henry’s constant for CO2/water is H=500 atm, where p(atm)=H x CO2, where xCO2 is the mole fraction of CO2 in the solution. The diffusion coefficient of CO2 in water at 300 K is 3x10-6 cm2/s.
