A mass of 5 kg of a saturated liquid-vapor mixture i s contained in a piston-cylinder device at 120.90 kPa. Initially, 2 kg of water i s i n the liquid phase and the rest is i n the vapor phase. Heat is then transferred to the water unti l t he piston, which is resting on stops, starts moving when the pressure is 300 kPa. Heat continues to be added to the system until t he total volume increases by 20%. Determine: a. the initial and final temperatures
b. the mass of liquid water when the piston first start moving
c. the work done during this process. Also show the process on a P-v diagram.
