Chapter 16 Architecture: Problem solving case study question You have been asked to create a landscaping plan for the home shown in figure A. The basic footprint of the house is 40' wide by 20' deep, and it sits parallel with the edges of the rectangular 96' by 64' building lot. The front right corner of the house is 28' from the right property line and 23' from the front property line. The land slopes evenly from back to front across the width of the property. The elevation at the back property line 146', and the elevation at the front property line is 132'. A 12'- wide driveway will run from the front of the property to the right side if the house. The house is located in Muncie, Indiana.

Given this information, create a landscaping plan of the house. Be sure to specify plants that are native to the area. Keep the contour of the site in mind and develop a plan that will reduce water runoff.
