1. create a name for your monster 2. describe what your monster looks like what is its body shape? what does its head look like, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, nose, hair? its arms and legs fingers, toes? does it have wings, a tail, scales, and warts? what does your monster wear? describe its surroundings 1. what does its house look like inside and out? what about the yard? describe what it does during the day 1. does it work? does it play? does it hunt? describe what it eats 1. breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks be as descriptive as you can with your ideas. start with a list of descriptions next start putting together a rough draft of chronological events in which your monster experiences throughout the day.
