Example:To begin with, animals shouldn’t be used in animal testing, because animals are very different from human beings and therefore make poor test subjects. Furthermore, doctors use animals to help find a cure for humans, but often kill them if they were successful, that’s like having a pet dog and you potty train it as a puppy and not give it a treat, several animals are injured and remain in captivity.  

On the other hand, animal testing should be done to create new medicine treatments because animals themselves benefit from the results of animal testing. California Biomedical Research Association defends (Signal Phrase), “If vaccines were not tested on animals, millions of animals would have died from rabies, distemper, feline leukemia, infectious hepatitis virus, tetanus, anthrax, and canine parvo virus.”, ProCon.org (Work cited). On the other hand, have they  considered the fact that chemicals used in testing are harmful to animals? John Rowlinson states (Signal Phrase), chemicals that are unsuccessful or harmful to animals are successful when used by humans (Indirect quote), www.aboutanimaltesting.co.uk (Work cited). They may harm the animals but are useful to humans proving that medicine can help people may not be good for animals.
