Stage
one:
bunnik
to
amsterdam
our
first
cycling
stage
in
holland
will
be
a
38
mile
(60
km)
ride
from
bunnik
to
amsterdam.
bunnik
lies
in
the
centre
of
the
netherlands
surrounded
by
rolling
woodland,
winding
rivers,
picturesque
houses
and
fields
of
tulips.
for
part
of
the
journey,
we’ll
be
cycling
alongside
the
‘crooked
rhine’
river.
admittedly
the
bends
will
slow
us
down
a
bit,
but
in
the
later
stages
there
are
several
long
straights
on
which
we’ll
be
able
to
make
up
time.
