Please help me! According to paragraphs 5 and 7 and what you can infer from the text, why was raiding “a way of life” in ancient Greece? Cite textual evidence to support your answer.

Raiding was said to "enrich the raid-leader and his men," and "bring honor and glory." It also served a test of the raid-leader's manliness, skill, and courage, which were values that defined a good leader. It had a big impact on society because not only did the spoils of a raid benefit the economy, but it also made sure the community's leader was capable.
