The mentalities in these classes tend to be different. Honors english classes are a bit more focused and students are more attentive. It could also help you learn to be a better writer as honors classes typically require more essays or more pages added onto your essay than a regular class. Having honors english added onto your transcript (if you're in high school) for colleges to see is pretty good too. It could impact their decision accept you and they could see you're a good student.
