Simile:

a question asked in order to create a dramatic effect or to make a point rather than to get an answer.

Therefor meaning that the answer would be:

Simile

because it says "everybody has to look after everybody else, as if we were all mixed up together like bees in a hive" its comparing bees to humans therefor the answer is simile.
