Bill is such a good Samaritan that I was
not surprised when we pulled over to see
if we could help the people involved in
that traffic accident yesterday.
Becca desperately wanted her driver's
license, but she dreaded the driving test.
Her mother pulled into the parking lot of
the DMV. Becca felt the scar on face.
She shuddered as she recalled the day of
the accident. It had been snowing all
night and the roads were so slick. The
other car came crashing into them. The
sound had been deafening. But that was
then. Becca Looked up at the blue skies
and opened the car door.
Cupid sure took aim and hit a bullseye
with those two lovebirds.
Dwight took Shadow out for his daily walk
in the park. He returned, put the frisbee
away and hugged Shadow's neck as he
said, "What would I ever do without you,
Shadow?" Dwight's mother looked over to
her husband as a look of concern spread
across her face. The old dog walked
slowly to his water bowl.
Jake's dad reminded him twice about
missing curfew. Jake knew the penalty and
resented the constant reminders. It took
twenty minutes to get home. Curfew was
at 11:00, so at 10:40, he got into his car to
leave. Jake thought his Dad stressed about
everything. As he pulled away he thought,
What could go wrong?"
