Many students graduate from college with a mountain of student loan debt that must be
paid back. Student loans can range from small
amounts to thousands upon thousands of
dollars. A large amount of debt can be a huge
burden for a young person especially when she
is early in her career and likely not earning too
much money. Our organization is proposing
that a college education should be free for all
young people so that their lives are not
negatively impacted by student loan debt. A free
education is already provided for so many years
(K-12), and we believe that the last 4 years also
