Both poems are nature centric and even mention the same things such as flowers and fields. Both poems express nature in metaphorical ways (Bashō: "as if the moon had flowered" Wordsworth: "[referring to daffodils] "dancing in the breeze") Bashō's poem is much shorter and written in the haiku format, whereas Wordsworth's is written in the English romantic poetry which has no set structural boundaries.
