What is the organizational pattern? Chimpanzees are amazing animals. All wild chimpanzees live in Africa. They live mostly in thick rainforests and in woodlands. There are two types, or species of chimpanzees โ the common chimpanzee and the bonobo, also known as the pygmy chimpanzee. Chimpanzees have a brown to black coat of fur and a fairly hairless face. Their hands are suited to knuckle-walking. Chimpanzees were endangered until 2015.
