Can someone read my speech and critic it? also, does it include logos, pathos, and ethos? my name is k j and i am honored to be running to be your division 14, lieutenant governor. warren g. bennis once said, “leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” if i would strive to live this quote out every day in our homes, schools, and communities. my main goal during my term would be to promote key club’s core values: leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. to accomplish this, i plan to increase partnerships between schools, get key club more involved in the community, and provide more opportunities for members. after 3 years in key club that include me attending 2 international conventions, 3 district conventions, 2 kiwanis family conference’s, and participating in numerous leadership roles as well as volunteer opportunities i feel that i have acquired the necessary skills to effectively lead this division. i, like each one of you here today, want to make a positive change. by making key club more well known in our community, rewarding hard-working members, and providing new experiences for members we can achieve great things this year. leadership is about personal connections and the first, most important connection i plan to make is right here, right now with each one of you. key club brings people together and by using our combined talents and resources we can make caring our way of life.
