Tornadoes occur due to different air temperature which creates instability. During tornadoes, there is more humidity and warmer temperatures at the surface of the earth, while high in the atmosphere, the air temperature prevailing cooler than usual.

Change of wind direction and increasing of the wind speed ahead of cold front creates a tornado. A tornado forms a dark or greenish sky. Sometimes, it presents itself as hail or wall cloud with a freight train sound. Its movement resembles a whirlwind but a tornado rotates creating a long column.
