How did bin laden and al qaida attempt to appeal to muslims worldwide?

Last December 29, 2007 Bin Laden had an audio announcement that called all Muslims attention. This audio of Bin Laden asked for support of the  Al Qaida. He justified all the actions as a jihad group. He also warned Sunni Arabs who are against the Al Qaida.
