How do many abusive relationships begin? with abuse as blind dates happily unhappily

Each relationship is different but mostly they start with verbal abuse, a little insult here another one here; but then things get more intense the abuse can get to another level and turn into physical abuse. That doesn't mean that all abuse starts the same some might start with physical abuse.
