Why do i keep accidentally biting the inside of my lip

Once you’ve bitten. The inside of your lip once, it’s gets swollen and sticks out more. This makes you bite that same spot over and over again because it’s sticking out from where it normally is. You can try holding an ice cube on the spot and that should help it temporarily shrink back and help for a little while.
