The key indications in measuring blood pressure are for patients of: hypertension screening, monitoring and management of a certain treatments, assessment of person's suitability in field of sport or work, determination of various risk upon medical procedures, and risk of cardiovascular disease. Correct cuff size depends on the patient's age and the circumference or the size of their arm. Other not normal signs and symptoms include: headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath, nosebleeds, chest pain, changes in vision and anxiety.
