1. Practicing good personal hygiene is important and necessary in helping prevent illness and infections. It is also good for our self confidence and emotional well being.

2. Practicing good community hygiene is important in preventing illness and disease in our communities. Workers in the food industry and healthcare workers should wash their hands and wear disposable gloves. Public places should be kept clean and disinfected. Garbage pick up is also very important in
 keeping our communities clean. 

3. Mechanical - Using a machines such as vacuums, floor cleaners, and washing machines to assist in keeping our homes clean.

Chemical - Detergents, dishwashing liquid, rug and upholstery cleaners are examples of chemical control methods for cleaning the home. 

Sanitary - Disinfectants, disposable rubber gloves

Biological - Natural products like lemons, white vinegar, baking soda, and natural salt are examples of natural, biological items used for cleaning.

4. The best way to prevent mosquitos from breeding is to remove any standing or stagnant water outside or near the home. Also keeping your grass cut and your gutters clean will help. Plant mosquito repelling plants like lavender, catnip, feverfew and citronella. Burning citronella candles and punks may help. Chemical products can be purchased or contacting a professional exterminator may help.

To prevent houseflies, keep garbage cleaned up and contained. Clean up any dog or cat feces. A natural preventative is mixing a little cayenne pepper and water in a spray bottle and spray around doorways and windowsills to keep them from entering the home.
