1 - Urgent reforms: Reference is often made, to speak of the initial New Deal period, of the "One Hundred Days" that corresponded to the adoption of numerous laws related to various fields of the US economy. According to Roosevelt's empirical method, based on the three Rs: Relief, Recovery and Reform (Social Assistance, Recovery and Reform), the vast majority of measures were taken quickly to solve the most urgent. Thus, the day after his presidential inauguration, held on March 4, 1933, Roosevelt launched his first measure and decided an exceptional closure of all banks in the country, known as the United States bank holiday. On March 9, the Congress was called to session and the Emergency Banking Act was proposed, the first proposal by its administration. Drafted during the night, it was presented to Congress at noon and ratified that same afternoon.

2 - Deep reform of the banking and monetary system: Emergency Banking Relief Act or Emergency Banking Act was a law passed by the United States Congress, proposed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression, and in the first days of his term, on March 9, 1933. The Law formulated a plan according to which all banks of manifest insolvency were definitively closed, allowing operations only to banks that proved to be sufficiently solvent to sustain themselves. Only the latter could open their doors again after the four-day national bank holiday (decreed by President Roosevelt from 9 to 13 March 1933). of the Federal Reserve to provide funds to solvent banks that could reopen, which caused de facto that the federal government ensure 100% of bank deposits. 3 - The Agricultural Adjustment Act was a federal law of the United States, which was part of the New Deal program to restore the country's agricultural bonanza during the Great Depression. It was approved by the Congress of the United States. United in 1933, in an attempt to reduce the country production of certain essential items, in order to raise prices. It also led to the creation of the Commodity Credit Corporation, to make loans to farmers in addition to acquiring and storing crops for the purpose of maintaining the value of these. The system had limited success before being declared unconstitutional in 1936.
