In the legal science, the western world suffered intense Roman influence. Current legal codes are also Roman influence. Roman Law Codes were built over time, adapting to the changes that occurred in the population's social relations.

The Roman Code of Law was divided into:

Jus Naturale, or Natural Law, which presented the foundations of Roman law and the notion that human beings by nature had rights;
