The first passover which was with the israelites and Moses, had to be given detailed instructions due to it going to be a holiday that would occur until Jesus Christ had arrived and died, as the bible states (Although some religions still do passover). God was very specific because 1. He created men and everything around us. It is only fair he has the right to control something as sacred as passover was. 2. He was very specific because everything for god had and has to be particular and not cheap. He made what we have and deserves it. 3. As I said before it was not only going to occur once but for thousands of years after that.
