Does America's system of elections (including campaigns, campaign finance, voting rules, and voter turnout) serve our democratic-republic ideals of people having a say in choosing their leaders and having those leaders serve public interests? Does the Electoral College serve this purpose, or should it be abolished in favor of a different method of electing the US President?
