Some positives about having a social structure is that if you are in the higher types of the social structures then you can have privileges and more rights than the lower classes have. One other reason is that they may be able to vote and be wealthy. A negative reason about having a social structure is that you cannot marry who you would like, you are not able to change the structure you are in. And lastly another negative reason is that you could be a slave and be poor.
