There is no excerpt given but the central idea here is that there is a great injustice being done to African Americans.  They endured much and suffered under the yoke of slavery.  They will fight to abolish this evil that is destroying both African American as  well as White Americans.

The central idea of an excerpt is basically the main idea. so for this document we know that Coloured people have lived and increased our number in this country for over 200 years now, but the future for them is still uncertain because some white people continue to try and claim this land is not for them.
