How were goods distributed throughout africa

The way that goods were distributed throughout Africa was by trade. At first they traded by using camels but since this could not handle humid forest zones a trade point was created known as the Sahel. Then trading cities were developed and this way they created a way to distribute goods throughout Africa. I believe that the best answer is Cities were established that served as distribution centers.
