When determining the time of death, it is critical to understand the process that happens to a body, from death to eventual skeletonization. For this part of the activity, you will create a poster in the form of an infograph. This infograph will show all of the steps that a body undergoes after death. Your poster should be clear and easy-to-understand. Someone should be able to look at it and quickly see all of the steps that occur, including death, rigor mortis, livor mortis, algor mortis, putrefaction, mummification, adipocere, and skeletonization. The poster should outline all steps and give a brief (two to three sentence) explanation of what each step entails. The goal is clarity, but don’t be afraid to add your own creative flair.
