Discussion:

The volume of a cone or radius r and height h is given by the formula:

Volume = (1/3) Pi * r^2 * h. In our case this is:

V = (1/3) Pi * (18)^2 * 6

   =(1/3) Pi * 324 * 6                      => 324/3 = 108

   = 108 * 6 Pi                                 => 108 *6 = 648

   = 648 * Pi                                    => approximating Pi by 3.14

   = 648 * 3.14

   = 2035.8  (approximately)
