I’m very confused like i don’t get it

Multiply: (3x - 8)(2x² + 4x - 9) --> multiply 3x by the three values in the back, and repeat with -8 --> 6x³ + 12x² - 27x - 16x² - 32x + 72

Simplify + order by power of x: 6x³ - 4x² - 59x + 72

Coefficient: value of the number before the xᵃ

Coefficient of: x³ --> 6x³ --> 6

x² --> -4x² --> -4

x¹ --> -59x --> -59

Constant --> x⁰ --> 72 --> 72

y - y1 = m(x- x1)

y - (-5) = 2/3(x -0)

y + 5 = 2/3x

y = 2/3x - 5
