In a port, the median weight of a container is 4,700 lbs, with a standard deviation of 500 pounds. 14% of the containers weigh more than 5,900 pounds.

Why can't this data be represented by a normal distribution?

Because the standard deviation is too small.

Because the containers are too heavy.

Because the standard deviation is too big.

Because we don't know the number of containers. (My original answer which was marked wrong)
