We can actually do more: we can prove that all circles are similar.

And it is extremely easy to prove that: it's a two-step proof. In order to prove that two circles are similar, we have to:

After step 1, the two circles will have the same center

After steo 2, the two circles will have the same radius.

So, using only translation and dilation, we transformed one of the two shapes and made it congruent to the other. This means that the two shapes were similar in the first place.
