4b - 24 + 19

4p - 5p - 30p

4.2v - 5 - 6.5v

For the first expression we will only simplify the constants:

4b - 24 + 19 ——> 4b - 5

The second expression only has variables so we simplify the whole expression

4p - 5p - 30p = -31p

The third expression we will only simplify the variables

4.2v - 5 - 6.5v ——> -2.3v - 5
