2. Use the Absolute Values of the x or y values that are NOT the same.

3. Same Quadrant: Subtract

Different Quadrant: Add

Example: Find the distance between the points:

(9, -4) and (9, 2)

(-3, 5) and (-7, 5) help- me dying
