How do i simplify this equation with exponents?

If an equation uses a number that has a square root, you can use that.

For example, 10 x 16 = 160.
You could simplify this into..
                      10 x 4² = 160.

Same thing with 100 + 144 = 244
The equation would become 10² x 12² = 244
