To conduct a test, there should be a well defined sample size. There needs to a well described problem to solve using the sample. Here, the problem us the preference of American's for soft drinks. To solve this problem, what is the age group he is looking at it. Is it teenagers, middle aged people or old man?The classification of the sample size using the age group should be done.
