If the prism in the situation shown above is slowly rotated anticlockwise the violet/blue light disappears from the rest of the spectrum coming from the prism. Further anticlockwise rotation caused the other colours to also stop coming out from that side of the prism. Explain the physics of this phenomenon - include an annotated diagram.
