present perfect tense

Para formar el participio pasado en español, para verbos irregulares lo que hacemos es quitar la terminación ar, er, ir y agregar ado al final del restante de la palabra que termina en ar, o para el caso de er/ir agregamos ido al final. Esto sería el equivalente a agregar ed a muchos verbos en inglés. Por otro lado, el verbo haber también lo podemos conjugar. Así:

La señora ha salido

Dado que salir es un verbo irregular que termina en ir, quitamos esta terminación y agregamos ido. Por otro lado, dado que señora es singular, usamos la conjugación ha del verbo haber.

Las ramas de ese árbol se han roto

Romper es un verbo irregular, su conjugación en este caso es roto. Por  otro lado, dado que ramas es plural, usamos la conjugación han del verbo haber.
