Bobby created a dilution of 1/100 of a bacterial sample by adding 1 mL of sample to 99 mL of saline. Unfortunately, after Bobby completed the dilution, he knocked the container over spilling the majority of the diluted sample out. After cleaning up the mess, he found he had 19 mL of diluted sample remaining.
