basically, the easiest method is the table method

the table goes like this EVERY single time:

128   64   32  16  8  4  2  1

in order to make a number, you need to find the numbers from this table which will add up to that number. by putting a 1 in the bottom, you are filling in that number and a zero is just zero.

for example, if i wanted to write 13 in binary, it would be:

128   64   32   16  8  4  2  1

0        0    0     0  1   1   0  1

because 8+4+1=13

so the binary for 13 is 00001101
