Black people proved many things in the civil war, they proved they were brave people by tanking the bullets on the front line, they proved that black people were just as affective as front line pioneers effectively distracting the soldiers so the North could get better shots , and they also provided good blood donators because found in studies of that age African Americans have a 97% chance of being -O which is a universal donator. They also supported the military by producing clothing and food supplies.
